This type of screw is used to fasten metal sheets to a metal roof frame. It is manufactured by plastic deformation from carbon steel and fitted with a steel washer and EPDM rubber to prevent water ingress.
The screw has a fine thread pitch and a normal tip, capable of making holes in thin sheets, so the fastening operation does not require pre-drilling of the material.
